Aiming at bridging the gap between the microscopic structure/chemistry and macroscopic materials performances, Prof. Ma’s research features a unique combination of materials synthesis and state-of-the-art aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy.All-solid-state Li batteriesNovel batteries based-on non-Li ions, e.g. Na-ion batteries, Mg-ion batteries, etc.
