Biography
MU Yang, born in June 1979, received his BSc in 2001 and PhD in 2006 from University of Science and Technology of China. Dr. MU then worked at the Advanced Water Management Centre of the University of Queensland in Australia. Upon his being elected into the "Thousand Young talents program" by the , Dr. MU returned to USTC. He is currently professor of Chemistry in the Department of Environmental Engineering Laboratory. His research focuses on wastewater treatment, mathematical modeling and microscopic analysis of energy transformation of waste matter and pollutants. Dr. MU has published 37 papers in SCI international journals with more than 630 citations by other researchers. Dr. Mu has three patents.Main research areas:Wastewater Treatment
