Biography

Lifang Wu, female, born in 1967. She obtained her PhD in 2000 from Institute of Plasma Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences and has been awarded the outstanding prize of 2000 president scholarship for postgraduate students. After that she joined National University of Singapore as a senior research scientist. In 2009, Dr Lifang Wu joined the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences and worked as a professor in biophysics. She has been authorized as an academic advisor for PhD and master students majoring in Biology and Biophysics. She has also been approved as a “Chinese Academy of Sciences Bairenjihua”. She majors in Plant molecular biology and bioengineering. She has published more than forty research papers, some are published on peer-reviewed scientific journals, such as 《Nature》, 《Plant Physiology》,《Genes and Development》. She has taken part in a number of projects including Major Program of the National Nature Science Foundation, 863 Plan. She has directed a project funded by the National Nature Science Foundation. Recruit graduate students major in biology; and candidates with research interest and experience in the interdisciplinary areas such as biophysics are also encouraged.
