"Alan is Veeva's executive vice president of global sales. He has more than 30 years of experience in enterprise software. Prior to joining Veeva, Alan's job was to provide guidance for high-performance sales teams and to establish strategic relationships with leading industry leaders. Over the past 10 years, he has served as a global operations executive at Medidata Solutions, where he is responsible for selling clinical cloud solutions to life sciences companies. Prior to that, Alan worked on several top software companies, including PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Red Pepper Software. He led the product sales team at PeopleSoft to help the company transform into a company with multiple product lines worth $ 1 billion. He has also successfully integrated JD Edwards and PeopleSoft's sales teams, with consolidated sales revenue totaling more than $ 2.5 billion."
