Biography
"As general manager of Asia Pacific, Alex is responsible for Veeva's operations in the Asia Pacific region, including sales, marketing and professional services. He has 18 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, including 10 years as a senior leadership position. Prior to joining Veeva, Alex worked as head of emerging markets for data and master data management at IBM Software Group. Previously, he worked at Initiate Systems, a leading provider of master data management solutions, and was acquired by IBM. While Initiate Systems served as Asia Pacific vice president, Alex successfully opened up the Asia-Pacific region, the annual turnover in five years from zero to 15 million US dollars. Prior to joining InitiateSystems, Alex worked for Vignette, a content management leader, where he held a number of management positions. Alex holds a bachelor's degree in political science and philosophy from the University of Wales Union Swansea University."
