Biography

       "Peter is responsible for Veeva Systems' overall strategic management. In 2010, Peter was selected PharmaVOICE 100, which is considered one of the 100 most influential people in the life sciences industry. Peter has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry. Prior to founding Veeva Systems, Peter was Senior Vice President of Salesforce.com and was responsible for the construction and management of the Salesforce.com platform. This includes product, marketing, and technical cooperation and other aspects of the work. During his tenure at Sales, Salesforce.com was listed and became the world's most successful SaaS platform based on leading technology applications. Prior to joining Salesforce.com, Peter spent nine years at PeopleSoft, where he served as chief architect and general manager of PeopleTools. During this period, Peter led a team of 450 people, for the PeopleSoft technology platform to provide comprehensive development, strategy, marketing and customer service, and many other support. In this process, PeopleTools is widely regarded as the industry's most outstanding application platform. Peter began his career at IBM and worked on relational database development at IBM Silicon Valley Labs and the IBM Almaden Research Center. During this period, Peter worked closely with the inventors of the relational database. Peter graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor's degree in computer science"
