Takashi Okamura

Biography

                "As general manager of Japan, Okamura Takashi is responsible for all operations of Veeva in Japan, including sales, marketing, professional services and customer support. He has extensive experience in Japan and the global information technology industry, and more than half of his more than 18 years of work experience is responsible for CRM vertical customer relationship management across industries. Prior to joining Veeva, Okamura served as Vice President of SAP Japan, where he was responsible for the business of small and medium-sized businesses and led the team members to double-digit growth for the company for several years. In 2007, he served as head of CRM Business Unit in SAP Japan. Prior to joining SAP Japan, Okamura held various management positions in several major software companies, including MicroStrategy Japan Manager, Siebel Japan Sales Director, and helped large pharmaceutical companies carry out CRM projects during their tenure. Okamura's career began in the 1990s, when he served as a data warehouse and CRM specialist in NCR Japan (now Teradata). During his tenure, he served as the youngest international agent at the headquarters of NCR Financial Group for two years in London, England."
