Biography
Professor Xinping Long has been a professor in School of Power and Mechanical Engineering since 2004. His expertise is in the areas of water jet theory and application, fluids machinery and fluid engineering, and cavitation mechanism and its application. He received his MSc (Eng) and PhD degree in the Department of Water Conservancy of Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electrical Engineering in 1991 and 1995. Long joined Wuhan University as an associate professor in 2001. Before joining to Wuhan University, he was an associate professor at Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electrical Engineering. Prof. Long has kept in contact with several foreign universities, such as University of Minnesota (1999), University of Manchester (2000), Monash University (2016)
