Will Ferguson

Biography

Will joined WuXi NextCODE in July 2015 with over 16 years of experience working in the genomics and life science industries, giving him a penchant for noticing trends in the market and setting forward thinking goals. He also has extensive experience in the enterprise software realm and currently serves as our Vice President of Business Development. Previous to WuXi NextCODE, Will was the business lead of the federal and Mid-Atlantic regions for the advanced analytics company Alpine Data Labs, where he was responsible for selling their enterprise software platform. He also worked for Big Data startup Ayasdi where he was the #1 revenue generator in 2013 and the lead for their health and life sciences vertical. At Complete Genomics he was the #1 rep globally for consecutive years (2011-2012) bringing in several multi-million dollar deals and building strategic relationships at the highest levels. And earlier in his career, Will worked for Agilent Technologies where he held multiple positions in sales and business development and had consistent over quota performance. While at Agilent, Will worked on the team that launched the highly successful SureSelect Capture platform and managed relationships with all the major genome centers in the US. Will has also worked at the National Cancer.
