Biography
â–ºProf. ZHANG Zemei, Associate Professor in English, is currently Director of the Center for College English Education, School of International Studies (SIS), Xi’an Jiaotong University. After graduating from Hebei Normal University in 1982,she first taught at Baoding Teachers College, then Xi’an Teachers College, and then Bard College (USA) before joining Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2002.
Research Interest
â–ºProf . Zhang’s main research interest is in Educational Linguistics, and has been Chief Investigator or Co-investigator in a number of national and XJTU research projects: two items with the Ministry of Education curriculum reform project; one with the National Social Science Foundation Project; one with the XJTU Social Science Foundation Project; three on XJTU curriculum / program reform; and another three related to the XJTU ‘985’ Project.
