Biography
Dr. Tifeng Jiao is a professor and vice director of School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering, Yanshan University. He received his PhD degree in physical chemistry from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. Afterwards he worked at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France) as a Postdoctoral Associate of CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique). Now his research interests focus on the preparation, assembly and applications of nanomaterials and nanocomposites. Up to now, he has published more than 100 SCI-indexed papers in academic journals. Now he is long-term member of Chinese Chemical Society (CCS) and member of American Chemical Society (ACS), active as peer reviewers for more than 20 Journals, such as Nanoscale, Nano Research, JACS, JMCA, Langmuir, The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects, etc.. Now he is also acting as a Lead Guest Editor of Journal of Chemistry (SCI, Impact Factor 0.484), Lead Guest Editor of Journal of Spectroscopy (SCI, Impact Factor 0.530), Guest Editor of Journal of Nanomaterials (SCI, Impact Factor 1.547), and Editorial Board of some Journals, such as Materials Science and Chemical Engineering and Open Journal of Safety Science and Technology
