Biography
Bo Zhang, Ph.D., has been our senior vice president, chemistry, manufacturing and controls since 2014. Prior to joining Zai Lab, Dr. Zhang was a director of the nature product business unit at GlaxoSmithKline, where he was responsible for chemistry, manufacturing and controls development. From 2010 to 2013, Dr. Zhang served as senior director of Hutchison Medi-Pharma, where he was responsible for chemistry, manufacturing and controls development. Before returning to China, Dr. Zhang had significant CMC experience at Pfizer in the United States. Dr. Zhang received a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from Iowa State University and a master degree in chemical fibers from Sichuan University.
