Biography
Dr. Liu is Professor in Zhejiang University Ocean College. He received Bechalor’s degree from Fudan University, China and Ph.D. degree from the Free University of Brussels, Belgium. He was a Fogarty Fellow in the National Cancer Institute, NIH, USA, and started his own laboratory in the Genome Institute of Singapore, Singapore in 2002. He has been moved to Zhejiang University, China since 2014.
Research Interest
His research interests focusses on elucidation of transcriptional regulatory networks and signal transduction cascades involved in regulation of cell cycle control, cell proliferation, cellular response to environmental stresses, and secondary metabolite biosynthesis and accumulation in yeast, green microalgae, and marine microorganisms.
