Xu Liu

Biography

Professor Xu Liu is Yangtze river scholars Distinguished Professor and OSA fellow.   He had obtained his BS. and MS.from Zhejiang University in 1984 and 1986 respectively, and had his Ph.D. from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Physique de Marseille in France in 1990.   He began his education carrier in Zhejiang university form Sept. 1990, and promote to full professor in ZJU in 1995. He had been the Chair of the Dept of Optical Eng. during 1997-2002.   He had been the first Dean of the Faculty of Informtion Technology of Zhejiang University during 2008-2012'   He had been the Director of the Stste Key Laboratory of Modern Optical Instrumentation in Zhejiang University during 2002-2012.   He  has been the vice director of council of Chinese Optical Society (COS), and currently he is the Secretary General of COS.
