Alexander Jack

Biography

Dr. Alexander (Alex) Jack joins U.S. Dermatology Partners from the Pacific Northwest. He has been practicing dermatology for four years in a multispecialty group in the Seattle area. He is Board Certified by The American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Jack earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He traveled west to attend the University Southern California in Los Angeles, where he earned his medical degree and graduated with highest distinction, in the top five percent of his class. He completed his internship in Seattle at Virginia Mason Medical Center and his dermatology residency in Portland at Oregon Health & Science University, where he served as chief resident. He discovered the field of dermatology during his first year of medical school after meeting a dermatologist who eventually became his mentor. That enthusiastic physician encouraged Dr. Jack to learn more about the specialty, so he started attending dermatology grand rounds and became fascinated with challenging cases. He then got involved in a dermatology research project and got hooked on the field.
