Biography

Laureano is a medical doctor trained and dedicated to drug discovery and development. His main areas of interest and experience is neglected tropical diseases, where he has worked in areas such as leishmaniasis, malaria, Chagas disease and dengue fever as well as other infectious diseases such as influenza. He also has experience in rheumatology (Lups), animal parasitology (leishmaniasis, fasciolosis), biotechnology, ICH-GCP, general topics in clinical research, vaccines, international public health, epidemiology and evidence-based medicine.
