Biography
Full Professor since 2014 and member of the Superior Council of the university in the period 2015-2016. Director of the Department during the years 2008 to 2012. National Secretary of JALLA (Andean Days of Latin American Literature) and SHARP (Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing). Leader of the research group "Discourse and fiction. Colombia and Latin America in the nineteenth century. " His areas of research and teaching are Colombian literature of the nineteenth century, Spanish-American literature of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, literary theory, Cultural Studies (gender, nation and literary historiography), autobiography and visual narrative.
