Biography
Peter S. Hellman, age 66, has served as a director of Baxter since 2005. From 2000 until his retirement in 2008, Hellman held various positions at Nordson Corporation, a manufacturer of systems that apply adhesives, sealants, and coatings during manufacturing operations, the most recent of which was president and chief financial and administrative officer. From 1989 to 1999, Hellman held various positions with TRW Inc., the most recent of which was president and chief operating officer. He currently serves as a director of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Owens-Illinois, Inc., and previously served as a director of Qwest Communications International Inc.
