Biography
Paul has over 12 years of senior management experience in international manufacturing operations and engineering. Paul was the Director of Operations for Avalon Laboratories, a private equity-owned medical device manufacturer of specialty medical tubing with responsibilities for facilities in California and Mexico. Prior to Avalon Laboratories, Paul was the Director of Operations for Accellent (now Integer) with responsibility for plastic injection molding and assembly. Paul started his career at 3M with almost 20 years in operations and engineering roles manufacturing a variety of products including carbonless paper, Scotch & vinyl electrical tape, glass microspheres, and medical devices. Paul’s passion for medical device design & manufacturing started in 1999 when he joined 3M’s Medical Division manufacturing Class I orthodontic products in Los Angeles, California. It is a passion that he continues to pursue today by delivering quality, delivery, and value to the customers of CRI Medical Devices. Paul received his degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He is a former Field Artillery Officer with the 1–120th Field Artillery Battalion – Wisconsin Army National Guard. Paul’s hometown is Minneapolis, MN and he works from CRI’s Maple Grove location where he supports engineering and operations globally.
