Abhijit Y. Talwalkar

Biography

Abhijit Y. Talwalkar has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2017. Mr. Talwalkar was President and Chief Executive Officer of LSI Corporation, from May 2005 until the completion of LSI's merger with Avago Technologies in May 2014. From 1993 to 2005, Mr. Talwalkar held a number of senior management positions at Intel Corporation, including Corporate Vice President and Co-General Manager of the Digital Enterprise Group, which was comprised of Intel's business client, server, storage, and communications businesses, and Vice President and General Manager for the Intel Enterprise Platform Group, where he focused on developing, marketing, and driving Intel business strategies for enterprise computing. Prior to Intel, Mr. Talwalkar held senior engineering and marketing positions at Sequent Computer Systems, a multiprocessing computer systems design and manufacturer that later became a part of IBM. He also held positions at Bipolar Integrated Technology, Inc., a VLSI bipolar semiconductor company; and Lattice Semiconductor Inc., a service-driven developer of programmable design solutions widely used in electronic systems. Mr. Talwalkar is Chairman of the Board for iRhythm Technologies, a healthcare technology company that specializes in cardiac monitoring and the diagnoses of arrhythmias. He is a Director of Lam Research Corporation, serving as Lead Independent Director and Chair of the Nominating and Governance committee; he previously served as Chair of the Compensation Committee. He was also a Director of LSI Corporation and the U.S. Semiconductor Industry Association. Additionally, he was a member of the U.S. delegation for World Semiconductor Council proceedings. Mr. Talwalkar has a Bachelor's of Science degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State University.
