Biography
Sameer Pagnis assumed the role of Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy in January 2017. Sameer is responsible for shaping the strategy for TE Connectivity (TE) by driving alignment and focus on enterprise-level value creation. Recently, he served as the Vice President and General Manager of TE’s Industrial and Commercial Transportation (ICT) business, from 2015 to 2017. Sameer was responsible for driving the organic and inorganic growth of ICT’s business and had complete responsibility of P&L for ICT, which operates under TE’s Transportation Solutions segment. From 2013 to 2015, Sameer served as General Manager of TE’s Global Application Tooling business unit, which also operates under TE’s Transportation Solutions segment. Since joining TE in 1998, Sameer has held a variety of positions of growing responsibility – in supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, sales, business development, and general management. Prior to joining TE, Sameer worked – for eight years – in the field of defense electronics and consumer electronics, for Be-Delft and Sharp respectively. Sameer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and a Diploma in Electronics and Radio Engineering, from University of Pune and Bombay Technical Institute respectively
