Research Interest
Organopalladium chemistry: Development of procedure for the synthesis of cyclopalladated azo aromatic compounds and their unsymmetrical substituted derivatives with different ancillary ligands in solid state and solution; Kinetics and mechanism of their formation; Study of on the structural, dynamical and photophysical properties of complexes by various experimental methods (X-ray diffraction analysis, NMR, IR, Raman, UV-vis and fluorimetric spectroscopies and ESI mass spectrometry) as well as the rationalization of their structural and photophysical properties by quantum-chemical calculations; Development of chromogenic and fluorescent bioprobes based on the organopalladium complexes of aromatic azo ligands.
