Biography
Dr. Iakovos Pantelides is employed as Special Teaching Staff in the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology & Food Science, CUT. He holds a BSc degree in Agriculture (Faculty of Crop Science, Agricultural University of Athens, Greece), a Master by Research (MRes) in Plant Biotechnology (University of London - Imperial College, UK) and a doctorate (PhD) in Plant Pathology (Agricultural University of Athens, Greece).
Research Interest
His main research interests include: basic and applied aspects of plant-microbe interactions, biological control of plant diseases, plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria, rhizosphere microbiome in suppressive soils, fungal genetics and pathogenicity, genetic variability of toxigenic fungi.
