Biography
"Pantelis Yiasemis joined the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering and Informatics at Cyprus University of Technology in January of 2010, as a PhD student pursuing a PhD degree in Software Engineering with a strong emphasis on modern development approaches and testing techniques for desktop and mobile software with the use of Computational Intelligence. In 2009 he completed his MSc at University of Surrey in United Kingdom, in the subject of Information Systems. His thesis covered the development of classic video games on the iOS platform."
Research Interest
Accelerating image processing with the use of GPGPU (General-Purpose Programming on Graphics Processing Units) and more specific the use of OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL).
