Biography

Dr. Rodanthi-Elisavet Mamouri is a Post-doc research assistant and responsible for the Atmospheric Physics and Remote Sensing Laboratory in the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics in the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). She graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a B.A. in Physics and a M.Sc. Environmental Physics with distinction. Since 2009, she holds a PhD in Physics and laser Remote Sensing techniques from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). During the period 2009-2011 she contacted parallel research as Post-Doctoral fellow in the field of Aerosol Science within the activities of the Institute for Space Applications and Remote Sensing of National Observatory of Athens (NOA) and the Laboratory of Laser Remote Sensing of the Atmosphere at the Physics Department of NTUA. Since 2012, she is contacting research on the variability of aerosols and air pollution in Eastern Mediterranean Region using active and passive remote sensing Techniques at CUT (2012- today). She is member of the European Aerosol Research Lidar Network (EARLINET), EUFAR, ACTRIS. She has participated in more than 20 research projects related to the remote sensing technique applications, to the satellite validations, air pollution monitoring, of a national and European level and in numbered international and national scientific-experimental field campaigns for air pollution and atmospheric studies. She has 32 publications at scientific journals and more that 80 oral/poster presentations at international conferences.
