Biography
Symeou Vasilis is a member of the research team of Dr. Diofantos Hadjimitsis, at the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics. He studied at the University of Patras where he obtained a degree in Geology. He then enrolled at the University of Edinburgh and was awarded a Masters degree in Exploration Geophysics. He is a member of the Cyprus Technical Chamber (ETEK) and a member of the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE).
Research Interest
His research interests include Near Surface Geophysics using Ground Penetrating Radar, and Marine Spatial Planning in the Mediterranean Sea.
