Biography
B.Sc. (High Honors) in Mathematics from The College of William & Mary in Virginia, U.S.A. in 1991. Graduate degrees in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, County, U.S.A. (M.Sc. 1993, Ph.D. 1996). Worked as a visiting assistant professor at The Ohio State University, U.S.A. (1996-1997), and as an assistant professor at Clarkson University, U.S.A. (1997-2001), Loyola College, U.S.A. (2001-2004) and University of Cyprus (2004-2009). Promoted to associate professor in March 2009 and to professor in March 2017.
Research Interest
Numerical Analysis, Numerical Solution of Partial Differential Equations, Finite Element Methods, Computational Mechanics.
