Biography

I have been a Clinical Specialist Dietitian for the past 12 years, with a wealth of experience working in both London and Sydney, in a number of clinical specialities including Gastroenterology, Oncology and HIV.  Within Dietetics, my greatest area of interest and expertise is in gastrointestinal nutrition.  I have worked in London since 2007 and for the last 2 years I have been working within the area of Gastroenterology. I have experience in offering dietary advice to patients who have the following gastro-intestinal conditions, both in the in-patient and out-patient setting:  * Coeliac Disease * Irritable Bowel Syndrome * Lactose Intolerance  * Crohn’s Disease  * Ulcerative Colitis  I have a particular interest in IBS and the use of the low FODMAP diet to aid functional bowel symptoms.  I have completed the 3 day training course at Kings College London 'A low FODMAP diet in functional gastro-intestinal disorders' as well as additional 1 day course which specialised in group education.
