Lars D. Houmann

Biography

Mr. Lars D. Houmann has been Chief Operating Officer at Adventist Health System, Inc. (AHS) since December 12, 2016 and serves as its Member of Executive Board. Mr. Houmann has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Florida Division at Adventist Health System, Inc. (AHS) since 2015. Mr. Houmann served as an Executive Vice President at Adventist Health System, Inc. until December 12, 2016. He serves as the Chairman Florida Hospital and has day-to-day responsibilities for the Central Florida region. Mr. Houmann has been with Florida Hospital since 1993 and served in various executive positions. He served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Florida Hospital. Mr. Houmann has spent his entire career in hospital administration and served at hospitals in Massachusetts, California, Arizona and Florida. He serves as Chairman of Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission. He serves as a Trustee of Florida Hospital Association Inc. He is a diplomate of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves the community through volunteering with various organizations. Mr. Houmann graduated from Columbia Union College with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He holds Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Loma Linda University.
