Terry D. Shaw

Biography

 Mr. Terry D. Shaw has been Chief Executive Officer and President at Adventist Health System, Inc. since December 8, 2016 and serves as its Member of Executive Board. Mr. Shaw served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Adventist Health System, Inc. until December 8, 2016. Mr. Shaw served as Senior Vice President at Adventist Health System, Inc. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President for the Florida Division of Adventist Health System. He also served in the following capacities within Florida Hospital: Vice President, Assistant Vice President and Director of DRG Management. He has been the Vice Chairman of Premier, Inc. since July 2015 and has been its Director since May 2013. He serves as a Director of Adventist Health System, Inc. He is a Member of the Hospital Financial Management Association, American College of Healthcare Executives and several other professional and service organizations. Mr. Shaw received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Computer Science from Southern Adventist University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
