Biography
Dr. Libor Nemecek Ph.D is the Partner at Hartenberg Capital. Dr. Nemecek served as the Head of M&A and Corporate Finance and Member of the Board at Agrofert Holding. from 2008 to 2013. From 1998 to 2003, Dr. Nemecek worked in Corporate Finance at Citibank Prague. He also worked as a Researcher at The Economics Institute, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic from 1993 to 2001. Dr. Nemecek worked on many projects such as Severomoravské Vodovody a Kanalizace 80m EUR financing; Škoda Group sell-side advisory, CEZ 500m EUR bond issue, buy-side advisory; New World Resources / RPG Group, 1.1bn EUR financing, 510m USD financing, 300m EUR HY bond issue; Ceský Telecom, 850m EUR financing; Zentiva, 550m EUR financing. Dr. Nemecek serves as a Director of AGROFERT, a.s. and Agrofert Holding, a.s. Dr. Nemecek holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education (CERGE), Prague and also completed a Ph.D. program in Economics from Princeton University, Princeton. He was a visiting student and a Fullbright scholar there. He also received a Master degree in Computer Science from Charles University, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Prague.
