Dr Bacon is a Consultant in the Department of Anesthesiology, Mayo Clinic Professor of Anesthesiology, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He is also Professor of History of Medicine, Vice-Chair for Faculty Development, Department of Anesthesiology, Mayo Clinic and Chair of the Section of Anesthesia History, Department of Anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic.
