Biography
PhDr. Ing. Tomáš Evan, Ph.D., is an experienced lecturer with specialization in Economics and sociology. He gained his first doctorate at Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Social Sciences, where he studied Political and Economic Sociology. He also received a Ph.D at University of Economics in Prague, Faculty of International Relations, where his research focused but was not limited to foreign direct investment. After participating in number of election monitoring missions in the Balkans he worked for OSCE Presence in Albania in 2003-2007. He also assisted our chief national negotiator with the EU for the fields of transport and environment and worked as Head of Expertise and Analysis Department in 2007-2008. He returned to academia afterwards.
