Biography
He graduated from BIVŠ Prague – College of Banking and Janko Jesensky Faculty of Law. After 1989 he ran his own business developing economic software. In 1996, he was appointed Member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, later becoming Deputy Finance Minister responsible for tax, customs and IT. He was also Deputy Minister for Informatics primarily in charge of electronic communications and mailing services. He is one of the key co-authors of the Electronic Communications Act no. 127/2005, Coll. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Czech Telecommunications Office between 2005 and 2009. In 2014 and 2015 he served as a member of the Board of Directors of O2 Czech Republic. Currently, he occupies the position of Security, Regulation and PR Director in CETIN.
