Biography
Daniel Hrncir joined the GE Aviation Czech in Letnany as a leader of component production in 2012. He focused on the production process optimization and quality stabilization. Nowadays he leads the Letnany factory overall, his responsibility covers the whole manufacturing value stream process beginning with strategic sourcing up to the final expedition of the turboprop engines series H, M601 and newly also ATP, the new engine model being currently developed by GE. Nowadays Daniel utilizes his long-term experience in supply chain management and manufacturing expertise as well as actual knowledge of the aircraft industry. Within the current activities Daniel and his team concentrate on launching the industry digitalization in production and supporting processes, known in GE as „Brilliant Factory“. Daniel had started his career in the production and quality departments of Gillette company. Six years after he joined ABB, where he was working at several management roles for seven years until he joined GE Aviation Czech in 2012. Daniel Hrncir has an education in economics and he also gained the MBA at Nottingham Trent University. His hobbies are cycling, hiking and gardening but most of all he enjoys spending time with his family.
