Scott M. Kleinman

Biography

Mr. Scott M. Kleinman Founded the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Kleinman is a Lead Partner of Private Equity at Apollo Global Management LLC since 2009 and served as its Head of Private Equity. Mr. Kleinman has been with Apollo Global Management, LLC since February 1996. Prior to Apollo, Mr. Kleinman was employed at Smith Barney Inc. in its Investment Banking Division from July 1994 to January 1996. For the decade, Mr. Kleinman has focused on Apollo's cyclical industrial businesses, including companies in the chemicals, forest products and industrial industries. He served as the Chairman and Director at Verso Corporation (formerly, Verso Paper Corp.) from August 2006 to July 15, 2016. He serves as Member of Board of Managers at Momentive Performance Materials Holdings LLC.
