Biography

Jiří Vohradský is currently working as an eminent Faculty member at Physical Therapy Program in USA. He has published numerous research papers and articles in reputed journals and has various other achievements in the related studies. He has extended his/her valuable service towards the scientific community with his extensive research work.

Research Interest

ur main objective is to analyze, model, and simulate on computers regulatory processes in the cell, identify & predict regulatory functions of RNAs, and provide bioinformatics support for measured data. We develop computerized deterministic and probabilistic models of regulation of gene expression and we use statistics and artificial intelligence for analysis of large scale gene expression data. We computationally predict new ncRNAs and identify their function using structure similarity to already functionally characterized ncRNAs. In collaboration with Lab. of regulation of gene expression, we work on prediction of function of mRNA and rRNA in eukaryotic gene translation during which local, progressive structures of mRNA are formed and interact with molecules of the ribosome complex and with rRNA.
