Biography
Marie Urbanová completed the astrophysics study at the MFF UK in 1975 with a red diploma. After a brief experience at Kleť Observatory, she took up scientific scholarship at the Department of Chemical Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University, where she started to work as a lecturer after her defense in 1981. He has been employed at the Institute of Physics and Measurement at FCHI VŠCHT Praha since 1994, first as a technical assistant. After the habilitation she graduated in 1997 at her Alma Mater, she continued as a lecturer. In 2008, she qualified as a professor of biophysics at the Palacký University in Olomouc.
Research Interest
on-negligible field of activity prof. Urbanová is her long-time successful work as Vice Dean for Science and Research of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering. She is a member of the Scientific Council of ICT Prague.
