Simon Skafdrup

Biography

  Simon Skafdrup has more than fifteen years of experience with organising and managing design teams consisting of researchers, designers, engineers and business developers. This has involved collaborations with many of the biggest Danish industrial companies and the development of more than 200 products and services across industries ranging from energy and medicine to lifestyle and the public sector. 3PART develops award-winning and innovative solutions, which has earned the firm international recognition and awards, including the Red Dot Award, Good Design, IF Design Award and Design Plus. 3PART is also an active part of Business by Design, a regional growth initiative that uses design to promote business potentials and growth. Simon Skafdrup is widely recognised for his uncompromising approach. In 2014 he became a member of the board of representatives for Design School Kolding. He is a contributor to Design for Europe, a three-year programme that promotes design-driven innovation throughout Europa. Simon graduated from the Aarhus School of Architecture as a master of architecture, specialising in industrial design.
