Biography
Mr. Keith Pienaar has been Chief Executive Officer of Africa at DSV A/S since September 29, 2016. Mr. Pienaar served as the President of Contract Logistics & Distribution at UTi Worldwide Inc. since October 2014. Mr. Pienaar served as Senior vice president, Contract Logistics and Distribution for Africa region at UTi Worldwide Inc. He led the turnaround of UTi's parcel business in Southern Africa and he balanced building integrated solutions for Africa clients with efficient operations.
Research Interest
He was instrumental in upgrading contract logistics capability in Africa while also adapting UTi's US truck brokerage model to southern Africa. Mr. Pienaar began his professional career at UTi in January 1984 and served various roles of increasing responsibility in the Freight Forwarding and Contract Logistics and Distribution divisions
