Biography
I work in the Alexandra Institute’s Department of Communications and Secretariat, which is a very nice place to be. And there are plenty of stories to tell! My tasks include internal knowledge dissemination and PR of the Alexandra Institute's projects. I also handle PR for the Department of Computer Science, Aarhus University. I am co-editor and writer of Insight - news from the IT City of Katrinebjerg that is published every two weeks. The projects that I communicate about often have many partners both public institutions, private companies and knowledge institutions. Therefore my work is to gather and communicate knowledge that is generated in the projects. Both between the participants and into a larger context - be it on our own websites, social media and more traditional PR. I am convinced that a close connection to the everyday life of the projects and the participants is the best way to understand and communicate the daily challenges of the individual projects. In practice, this means that I work closely with the project management and the participating project partners. I participate in project management meetings, workshops and partnership days. Besides gaining insight I also get visual material, a sense of the atmosphere, insight into the process and sources of new interesting stories.
