Biography
I have a Bachelor of Commerce from Aalborg University and an MBA from Henley in London. In addition to these formal educations, I have attended short courses in sales, management and business development, e.g. at MIT in Boston. Since the late summer of 2016, I am responsible for sales and business development in relation to our customer-oriented services and products at the Alexandra Institute. In this regard, I am responsible for developing and ensuring the implementation of our sales strategy, including actively participating in and leading the commercial sales efforts from establishing new customer contacts to getting a signed contract. At the same time, I act as a coordinating link between customer needs and the professional expertise in our specialised labs and our cross-disciplinary domains, thus ensuring that our customers are familiar with the wide range of specific competences we offer in relation to strengthening their business foundation. I also have an active role in the business development of our services towards more specific products/solutions, not least to provide the business/customer perspective herein. My sales-related platform is in sales of complex IT solutions. Over the years, this platform has been complemented with a solid top management experience from both start-up companies and more established companies in various areas of the IT world. Along the way I have also built an extensive experience in business development, capitalisation and exit of start-up companies, both from the investor side and the business side. Internationalisation, both directly and through partners, is also part of the toolbox, I bring with me. My skills are best brought into play in the intersection between each company's specific business challenges and the solutions that use of IT can give.
