Jens Bager

Biography

Mr. Jens Bager served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Alk-Abelló A/S since 2000 until February 22, 2016. Mr. Bager served as Corporate Manager of Chr. Hansen Holding A/S and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer since August 2005. From 1998 to 2000, he served as an Executive Vice President with responsibility for the Colour Division at Chr. Hansen A/S and Vice President for Corporate Development and Communication of Chr. Hansen Holding A/S from 1993 to 1998. He held various management positions within Corporate Development, Communications and Marketing in larger Danish companies. He has strong and relevant business experience. He was a Member of Corporate Management of the Chr. Hansen Group since 2000. He serves as the Chairman of Ambu A/S and previously served as its Vice Chairman. He serves as a Member of the board of Management at Alk-Abelló A/S. He has been a Director at Ambu A/S since December 2010. He has been a Director of The Poul Due Jensen Foundation since March 2017. He served as a Director at DBV Technologies S.A. since 2009. Mr. Bager holds an MSc. in Economics and Business Administration with a major in Strategy/Marketing in 1987.
