Thomas Brixen Director - Global Process Development, Commercial Innovation at Ambu A/S Ambu A/S Danmarks Tekniske Universitet Copenhagen Area, Capital Region, Denmark Experience: • Extensive ‘local’ and international managerial experience within Operations and Engineering. • Change management – from leading high growth areas to closing down a production site. • Lean – implementing and sustaining Lean initiatives. • Transfer of production from Denmark to Hungary and China. • Technology development – exploring new processes and technologies to reduce cost. • Developing and implementing strategies. • Leading an int. project organization with strong interdependencies between departments. • Outsourcing of Injection molding and controlling and sourcing of tools at molding partners.
Research Interest
His focus has always been getting the basic KPI’s right and based on that, to work with improvements and developing the organization. In all positions I’ve been working with optimization and constant improvements using tools from the Lean and TPS philosophies focusing on creating flow and eliminate waste.
