Bipul Sinha

Biography

Bipul Sinha is a Co-Founder of Rubrik, Inc. and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Sinha is a Venture Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners. At Lightspeed, Mr. Sinha focuses primarily on Internet, mobile and software sectors, with a particular interest in social media, digital media, social utilities/apps, advertising technology and software infrastructure. Mr. Sinha serves as an Observer of DoubleVerify. He was Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners since September 13, 2011. He served as Principal of Blumberg Capital where he led investments in digital media, Internet and datacenter software infrastructure sectors. He was a venture capitalist and focused on investments in digital and social media, Internet, digital media, SaaS, mobile computing and datacenter software infrastructure sectors. Prior to this, he was with Banc of America Technology Investment Banking Group, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions and equity financing transactions. Prior to banking, Mr. Sinha served as Director of Database and Middleware Products at Oracle Corporation, where he worked with customers, brought innovative solutions to market, created new businesses and managed teams. He also held sales and engineering positions at American Megatrends, Inc. and International Business Machines Corporation. (IBM). Mr. Sinha has been a Director of Nutanix, Inc. since December 2011. He serves as Founding Board Member at Numerify, Inc. He serves as Director of PernixData, Inc. and Peel Technologies, Inc. He holds several patents in Distributed Computing. He has over 14 years of operations and technology investment experience. Mr. Sinha received an M.B.A. with major in Finance from The Wharton School, where he was a Palmer Scholar and a B.Tech. (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur.
