Biography

 Ramesh Radhakrishnan is a Partner at Artiman Managment LLC. He was previously a Managing Director at the firm. He focuses on early stage technology investments in India. Mr. Radhakrishnan has been a member of the founding entrepreneurial team in three startups. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Engineering at Fireeye Inc. Prior to FireEye, he served as the Vice President of Software and Network Solutions at Airgo Networks Inc., where he led the Systems and Software Development team. Prior to Airgo Networks, Mr. Radhakrishnan served as the Director of Engineering of the Wireless Access Business Unit at Cisco Systems, where he led the development of fixed wireless products and solutions. He came to Cisco through the acquisition of Clarity Wireless, where he led the engineering team that pioneered and created the wireless last mile standard which is WiMax today. Prior to Clarity Wireless, Mr. Radhakrishnan was a Founding Member at ZeitNet, acquired by Cabletron in 1996, where he led the engineering team which made high speed LAN products. Before this, he was an Engineering Manager at Adaptive Corporation that brought ATM technology to the LAN. Mr. Radhakrishnan started his career as a Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard's Network Division in Cupertino. His work has directly contributed to the development of key industry standards in the areas of ATM, MPLS, and VPNs. Mr. Radhakrishnan holds two patents in the area of networking protocol technologies. He has over 20 years of operational and business experience in the high technology industry, including networking, security, and wireless companies. Mr. Radhakrishnan has an M.E. degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville and a B.E. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.
