Biography
Yatin Mundkur serves as Chief Executive Officer of Cellworks Group Inc. Mr. Mundkur leads Cellworks Group in transforming the treatment of cancer through personalized medicine. He develops company strategy and commercialization of both its Precision Medicine and its Stratified Medicine businesses. He has been a Partner of Artiman Management LLC, since 2004. Mr. Mundkur joined Artiman Management LLC in 2004 as a Partner and focuses on early-stage technology and Medtech investments. He previously served as a Managing Director at Artiman Management LLC. Previously, Mr. Mundkur served as the Managing Director at Telesoft Partners focusing on semis, systems and software investments and led investments in over 20 companies, in the early stage semiconductor and software sectors. He was also responsible for TeleSoft's investments in Ikanos and SigmaTel. Prior to that, Mr. Mundkur was a Founder and President at Equator Technologies. He also served as a Vice President and Group Manager at Conexant and Chief Architect and Design Manager at Sun Microsystems, Ross Technology Inc., and Cypress Semiconductor. He served at Oracle America, Inc. Mr. Mundkur serves as a Director of Xambala, Inc., BayPackets, Inc., RedClover Networks, Sierra Design, mSupply, Looxcie, Xambala, Software Technologies, Spudnik, Xbux and Xpedion Design Systems, Inc. He serves on the Boards of rossbar, Vidcie. Virsec, Cellworks, InfiniteZ (zSpace), Pricelock Inc., Prysm, Inc., and XTRM. Mr. Mundkur also served on the Boards of BioImagene, Inc., Systems, LogLogic, Matrix Semiconductor, OmegaBand, Sierra Design Automation, Yantra, Nethra Imaging, Inc., Virident Systems Inc., and Jungo Ltd. He served as a Director of Emulex Communications Corporation. Mr. Mundkur served as a Director of Catamaran Communications, Lara Networks, Versatile Optical Networks and a Board Observer to VxTel. Mr. Mundkur has over 17 years of overall experience working with technology companies in venture capital. He holds 14 patents in areas of computer architectures, digital consumer electronics, semiconductor design and software. Mr. Mundkur obtained an M.S.E.E. from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S.E.E. from MSU of Baroda, India.
