Biography
Elrisa Taljaard serves as Chemical Laboratory Manager of Aspirata Microbiological and Chemical Laboratory. Ms. Taljaard has been involved in the Chemistry field for nearly two decades. During this time, she has fulfilled numerous roles in this field ranging from Operations and Quality Manager to Laboratory Manager and various project manager positions. She has done extensive research, mainly concerning Analytical Chemistry, and has published no less than 12 academic papers internationally. She has also contributed to various local and international conferences and symposiums. Ms. Taljaard earned BSc. from University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1993, BSc. (Hons) in Chemistry from University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1994, MSc. in Chemistry from University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1996 and PhD in Chemistry from University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2000.
