Biography
Venisha Bachulal serves as Technical Director of Hygiene, Food Safety and Quality at Aspirata Microbiological and Chemical Laboratory. Ms. Bachulal is an internationally recognised and dynamic technical director in all aspects of environmental health, but, more specifically, in hygiene food safety. She has a proven ability to approve and manage auditing staff, while continuously upholding the highest standards of excellence pertaining to the team’s growth and performance. She joined Aspirata in 2004, and brings more than 20 years of food safety and occupational health and safety experience to the table. Her key roles and accountabilities at Aspirata include the management of a wide range of hygiene, food safety and quality operations; approving audits and food quality assurance operations; cross-training food processing facility audit procedures; and managing quality assurance/food safety programs. Ms. Bachulal's Qualifications were BA of Technology: Environmental Health from Natal Technikon, South Africa (1997), National Certificate: Noise Control, Technikon RSA, South Africa (1991) and National Diploma: Public Health, Natal Technikon, South Africa (1989).
