Allan Larsen

Biography

Allan Larsen is Co-founded Artros - Aalborg Privathospital A/S in 2006 and serves as its co-owner. Mr. Larsen previously worked for Orthopaedic Division North Jutland in their Aalborg Hospital-based clinic, as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with special interest in the area of sports traumatology. Here, Mr. Larsen was responsible for cartilage transplantations as well as research. In collaboration with Aarhus University and Aalborg University, as well as several domestic and international pharmaceutical companies, he is currently researching new methods of cartilage treatment in order to develop a technique which enable cartilage transplants to be carried out via arthroscopic surgery. Has worked on cartilage transplant operations for several years, both at home and abroad, including in Spain and the United Kingdom. Also heads national and international training seminars for specialists and consultants in the field of cartilage treatment.
